Lab 6 Assignment

Objectives:

1.  Understand how to implement Sequence Detectors in Xilinx and how to simulate to ensure proper functionality.

2.  Familiarization with basic FPGA concepts and the Digilent boards.

3.  Familiarization with macros (Hierarchical Blocks).

4.  Integrated design using macros, VHDL and schematic capture.

Xilinx Assignment

This lab requires the completion of two sequence recognizers in VHDL.  The complete code will be given for the first project.  You will be stepped through the process of design and simulation.  After you have walked through the process, your assignment will be to slightly modify the code to perform the required project.  Proceed here to begin the Xilinx portion of the project.
